As Director of Global Supply Chain & Logistics and a member of the ExCo team at Portwest Group, known for its innovative brands Base and Portwest, I was responsible for the end-to-end global supply chain. Portwest designs and manufactures workwear and footwear in its own factories, while PPE is primarily subcontracted. The group employs 5,500+ people and generates €500M in revenue. My responsibilities included strategic planning, procurement, inventory management, factory allocation, global warehousing, inbound/outbound logistics, customs, HSE, master data, and PMO projects supporting business growth. My scope covers a €65M OPEX budget, €1M CAPEX, 7 direct reports, 700+ FTEs, P&L accountability across multiple entities, and reporting to the CEO and Board of Director

I was one of the members of the management team accountable for the consulting business at Groenewout. Groenewout is an international, independent firm offering a comprehensive range of professional consulting services and transition support, with a focus on business improvements related to supply chains and logistics across all industries. I was accountable for building and leading the supply chain consulting business in Belgium from the ground up. I developed the strategic direction, aligned commercial plans, managed client relationships with a strong focus on service excellence and P&L management. My key client portfolio included leading companies such as Estée Lauder, Atlas Copco, Colruyt Group, Sapa, Agfa, BiobestGroup, Becton Dickinson and Bpost. Additionally, I led teams to drive growth and profitability within the organization.
