I have a wealth of experience, managing for-profit and nonprofit organizations and boards of directors. I have been privileged to serve in a variety of offices, including independent director, Chairman of the Board, President, Committee Chairman of the Audit Committee, Chair of the Legal and Governance Committees, and others. I'm an honorably retired United States Navy officer. During my 20 year career, I served as the Executive Officer and then Commanding Officer of reserve intelligence unit. I'm an honorably retired law-enforcement officer with significant experience as a detective and personnel manager for the fourth largest police agency in California.l and served as an Assistant Chief of Police for a smaller agency. Currently, I am the President of a nonprofit foundation operating in California, which provides college scholarships for deserving high school students. I own and operate two small companies and am frequently retained by corporations and legal counsel for advice on protection of intellectual property, people and assets worldwide.
