I am a very experienced senior manager and engineer from a primarily Aerospace and Defence background. I bring experience and capability from more than 40 years of achievement, across businesses involved with design, development, manufacture, production, certification and support, of defence and aerospace platforms and components. I am interested in short term and part time assignments (Consultancy or Interim) and in Non Executive Director roles. In Defence, my experience includes combat aircraft, training aircraft, transport aircraft, special mission aircraft, submarines and surface ships; in Commercial Aerospace, airliners, freighters business jets and eVTOL. Component experience includes a wide range of metallic and composite processes in particular, but also electrics, electronics, and most recently photonics. Roles vary from Strategic through General Management, Engineering Management, Business Winning and Contract Negotiation, and many Programme Management roles. Most recently I have been focused on Sustainable Aviation and eVTOL Urban / Regional Aviation working with a rapidly growing startup company in Munich (now Nasdaq listed) in a CTO role, and advising various organisations on related topics. I have served on the Boards of Directors of large, medium and small businesses, and now offer my services in Consultancy Services, Interim and Non Executive roles from bases in UK (Cambridge) and Germany (Munich)
