About Me
I am an international development and investment advisory professional with 15+ years’ experience across Syria, Jordan, Iraq, the UAE, and the wider MENA region. My work sits at the intersection of program design, donor/investor engagement, and grassroots networks/organizations.
At CrossBoundary, I oversaw USAID’s INVEST Syria stakeholder mapping project, engaging over 100 CSOs, activists, and diaspora leaders to shape donor strategies for resilience and economic recovery. As co-founder of Aleppo Media Centre, I built and managed a team of 35+ across seven provinces, working directly with HRW, Amnesty, and INGOs to document abuses and amplify survivor voices.
I bring a rare mix of deep networks in Syria, donor-facing advisory experience, and strategy consulting skills from INSEAD (MBA). I now advise organizations and donors as a freelance consultant, helping bridge local realities with international decision-making.
Core skills: stakeholder mapping, donor engagement, investor relations, proposal and budget development, contextual analysis, team leadership, CSO capacity building, and cross-border program coordination.
