Manage medical and surgical specialties in Lusíadas Amadora Hospital, that has more than 90 beds and 60 medical offices and is part of Lusíadas- Lisbon Cluster. Our focus is to deliver quality healthcare services, ensuring patient satisfaction and engagement of our teams, with efficiency and sustainability. It was a great teamwork experience that has brought very good results such as +3% in Revenue, +68% in EBIDTA and +55% in EBIT.

Report to: Chief Executive Officer Follow up of the strategic clinical corporate projects and update of the steering committee. • Implementation of the Clinical Council that align activities of key care deliver professionals from the group in the country, privileging the standardization of customers and professionals experience and best practices in our units. • Strategy planning for the Clinical Engagement, a multidisciplinary project that includes HR management, physicians' analytics, training & science that could leverage the company reputation among clinicians in Portugal. • Organization of the II Lusiadas Clinical Summit: The circle of Life, that received more than 600 participants in Cascais Convention Center to discuss key care themes, with international speakers.
Implementation of good practices in terms of processes and controls required by General Data Protection Regulation to manage vendors risk on Personal Data Management. • We have assessed and established action plan to mitigate risk and improve process of GDPR controls on more than 1,000 vendors.
Managing 3 crews working on implementation and maintenance of Compliance Anti - Corruption and Anti Bribery Program. It entails policies, standard procedures, people training and its related controls implementation to comply with Brazilian Clean Company Act and Foreign Corrupt Practice Act. High focused on: • Third Party Due Diligence. • Management of Compliance Help Center and conducting of corporate investigations. • Performing Compliance Due Diligence of Merges & Acquisitions. • Creation of a new Health Compliance crew focus on regulatory compliance from own hospitals and clinics (Americas Medical Services and Next). • Implementation of standard procedures and people training and controls to process as Third - Party Due Diligence, Gifts & Hospitality, Travels & Entertainment, Petty Cash & Cash Advances, Accounts Payable and Sales to Public Entities. • Performance of Background Checks to more than 17,000 Third Parties and 13 business Due Diligence under Merges & Acquisitions process. • More than 300 executives live- trained on Anti - Corruption and Anti - Bribery Compliance Program and more than 38,000 employees trained through online platform. • Implementation of Conflict of Interest Policy and evaluation of conflicts reported by executives; • Participation and follow up to Compliance & Ethics Committee activities. • Performance of several corporate investigations addressing corrective and preventive actions, including disciplinary measures. • Business alignment between Headquarter (USA) and Portuguese UnitedHealth Group´s Companies.

Implementation of process related to vendors training, qualification and development, including Sustainability and Compliance criteria of evaluation. Structuring Vendors Evaluation Program to drugs, medical devices and supplies, and monitoring pharmaceutical products purchase. Follow up of operational and financial performance KPIs from Procurement. • Database maintenance and sanitary information follow up of more than 5,000 drugs and medical devices. • Pharmacovigilance program implementation and follow up for 35 hospitals and 14 clinics of UHG Group in Brazil. • Monitoring of more than 4,000 vendors, including process controls to comply with Foreign Corrupt Practice Act and Sarbanes - Oxley Act. • Training, qualification and development of about 500 vendors, including on site audits of pharmaceutical industries in Brazil, Austria, France, USA and Spain. • Performance of medical devices surveillance and pharmacovigilance of about 35 hospitals throughout Brazil. • Alignment of Procurement standard procedures to comply to Brazilian sanitary regulation and to hospital accreditation process (National Organization for Accreditation and Joint Commission International).
