Led a team of 40 senior highly competent professionals, managing a multi billion (€) portfolio of credit lines and the relationships of the bank’s top 250 corporate top tier groups incl. multinational, across all industries, catering to their individual needs, by building bespoke financial products and advising our clients on their lending strategy, incl. via the bank’s subsidiaries in Romania, Albania and Cyprus. Accumulated knowledge in most areas of banking, in client servicing and products promotion, in credit and risk valuation, in regulatory, supervisory, ESG and compliance issues, in improving customers’ journey and how that could be practically achieved, for both wholesale as well as retail clients. Achieved significant management and HR related experience. Involved in hiring +50 new colleagues for the Corporate Banking Department as well as assessing promotions within the Corporate Banking department as well as in Project Finance and Commercial Banking Departments. Reported directly to the Head of Wholesale Banking, who reported directly to the bank’s CEO. Regularly requested to attend and present various issues at the bank’s top management committees, such as the Executing Committee, Asset – Liability Committee, Risk Management Committee and the bank’s Board of Directors. I was a member of the bank’s Directors’ Credit Committee and on a regular basis I presented credit-related proposals to the General Managers Credit Committee.
