A Finance Director is responsible for the financial planning and operations of a company. Their primary duties include evaluating financial markets, preparing financial reports, and finding solutions to financial issues. Duties and Responsibilities • Manage the day-to-day financial operations of the business • Manage company bookkeepers as required • Perform a full set of accounts and ensure timely closing of accounts. • Perform project cost forecasts/budgets, cost tracking, monitoring, and controls. • Summarize financial status by collecting information, preparing a balance sheet, profit loss, and other statements. • Set up/ manage cloud-based accounting system for the business • Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports • Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company • Understand and adhere to local financial regulations and legislation • Cash flow management • Improving efficiencies and reducing costs across the business • Debt management and collection • Preparing Annual tax and Audit information • Tracking project costs
