About Me
Farwa is an award-winning Product, Research & Design leader from Toronto. Over the last 15+ years, Farwa has conceived impactful digital experiences for B2C brands like Shoppers Drug Mart, Kraft, TSN, Sunnybrook Hospital, U.S Army, & launched software products at VC-backed startups (3 exits) to impact millions of customers through technology & human-centered design.
Farwa previously led product design at Nudge AI (acquired by Affinity), a B2B relationship intelligence platform from 0 to 1 to revenue (from ~500 to 40 million relationships), took fintech startup BCM Exchange (acquired by Bitbuy) from 0 to 1 to acquisition, and led a talented team at legal tech AI scale-up Kira Systems (acquired by Litera) to help the world's top law firms review contracts with machine learning. Farwa was also Kira's Entrepreneur in Residence, where she incubated a new AI product that spun out into Zuva AI ($20M Series A raise).
Farwa helped transform health care for 7.5+ million Canadians at social enterprise GreenShield, Canada's first payvider, with UX oversight across 4 LOBs & 14+ products spanning mental health, iCBT, chronic diseases, pharmacy, telemedicine, insurance, and benefits administration. As the Founder of Explorux — a boutique product strategy consultancy, she advises founders on building impactful Saas products, practices, and teams in emerging tech from 0 to 1 and scaling growth 10x.
As an Advisor for Junior Achievement Canada at Deloitte, Farwa has coached 200+ teen entrepreneurs on building tech ventures & agile practices for 9+ years. Mentees have been accepted to Y-Combinator, MIT LaunchX, NextCanada, & DMZ. As a speaker & educator, she has taught at BrainStation, guest lectured at University of Toronto, York University, Western University & spoken at 30+ events on product leadership, equity, & design thinking.
