Melbourne Water manages ~$18b worth of water supply, sewerage, and drainage assets across its service region of more than 7,800 km²—this included water distribution mains, sewers, drains, and pumping stations. Reporting to the EGM Corporate Services, and a dotted line to the Managing Director, and Risk and Audit Committee, this role was accountable for leading the Chief Risk Office and spearheading the business through a risk transformation program to mature risk management process and culture in as fast changing high risk organisation. OZ Minerals Limited is a South Australian publicly listed company, engaged in the mining and processing of ore containing copper, gold, and silver; sales of concentrate; undertaking exploration activities and the development of mining projects. OZMinerals was acquired by BHP in May 2023. Reporting to the CFO, and with accountability to the Board, this role was accountable for leading the Enterprise Risk function and spearheading the business through a risk evolution program to further mature risk management to support a rapid growth agenda.

Reporting to the CFO, and with direct accountability to the Board, this role was accountable for leading a team of eight to embed the Risk Management Program, as well as the Compliance Framework and Business Continuity Program across AusNet.

This role reported directly into the Global Head of Enterprise Risk Management in the US and was accountable for the application of Risk Management Framework, the Business Continuity Framework and Corporate Insurance program across the Australian business.

As a member of the senior leadership team in the Australian Chief Risk Office, this role was responsible for leading a team of four people to provide risk support to a large portfolio containing Major Projects (~$350m annual portfolio size) and the Customer Labs Division. Customer Labs was a division of 1000 FTE that was responsible for developing IAGs customer experience strategy using a deep understanding of customer data and insights, as well as digital innovation across the group.
