Reporting directly to the local CEO, I led the Transformation Team in Portugal to drive operational excellence and process optimisation. Continuous Improvement: Applying Lean Six Sigma, managed the corporate transformation program, delivering impactful initiatives in HR, Finance and Operations processes. IT Service Management: Implemented E-Learning, Talent Acquisition and ITIL systems, designing their service frameworks and overseeing daily operations, quality, and performance (KPIs). European Transformation: Led the redesign of the Lead-to-Cash process across 15 countries, including gathering functional requirements for SAP SuccessFactors and Salesforce systems. Team Management: responsible for creating and leading the transformation team.
Spearheaded the growth of the ITSM offering, positioning it as a strategic solution for long-term client partnerships. Sales & Proposal Management: Designed and implemented multi-year ITSM contracts. Played a central role in establishing a new Delivery Centre in Oporto for a multinational bank, aiming to scale to 600 resources within four year. Key achievements: 1) Pivotal role in designing and defending the proposal that secured the strategic partnership; 2) Managed vendors for Helpdesk and Support Functions within a BPO framework; 3) Acted as Service Transition Manager during the setup phase, ensuring a seamless nine-month transition. 4) Supported the setup of the Talent Acquisition team, defining the recruitment process and overseeing on-boarding and integration of new hires.
Designed multiple ITIL-compliant Managed Services and Application Maintenance solutions, covering the full life-cycle from opportunity qualification to service transition. Solution Design: Defined delivery and financial models, service sizing, KPIs, SLAs, and performance metrics. Team Configuration: Structured service teams with local, nearshore, and offshore components. Key Achievements: Led the design and configuration of four SAP Application Outsourcing agreements for a Spanish energy multinational, supporting maintenance of several systems with a baseline of nearly 100 consultants.
