Implemented new policies and procedures for cost containment, improved management operations and IT best practices. Managed all cloud-based application deployments. Managed a staff of 100 with an annual IS budget of $5.5 MM for this $1.3 billion professional accounting services firm. • Developed the firm’s IT infrastructure at new location in NYC. Network size was 3,000 nodes; data center housed four VAX computers. • Developed the firm’s first computerized technology asset tracking inventory system. System tracked assets worth a total of $7.5 MM; managed help desk supporting 3,500+ users. • Developed the firm’s first long range strategic IT plan which yielded an overall productivity increase of 18%. • Reduced new PC expenditure costs by $500,000 per year while still retaining same order quantities through vendor consolidation and negotiations. Negotiated an out-sourcing hardware maintenance service agreement which saved the firm $480,000 per year.
