Her professional journey spans leading racial and health equity work, maternal and child health, academia, and social justice and DEIJB efforts. She is deeply dedicated to advancing public health initiatives and combating health disparities—delving into the intricate web of social and political determinants of health, addressing infant and maternal inequities, and tackling healthcare challenges through a blend of professional expertise and personal life experiences.

● Lead the development and execution of CHI’s organizational DEIB strategy, aligning initiatives with the mission to advance equitable healthcare delivery and internal culture transformation. ● Spearhead initiatives focused on advancing Black maternal health equity, including strategic design collaborations, program development, strategy concepts, and advocacy to address systemic disparities in perinatal care. ● Cultivate and manage national partnerships with healthcare institutions, key stakeholders, community-based organizations, and advocacy groups to amplify DEIB impact and drive systemic change in maternal health outcomes across the U.S. ● Partner with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to embed DEIB principles across all departments, programs, and community engagement efforts with compliance objectives and contingency plans. ● Design and facilitate DEIB marketing strategies, trainings, workshops, and learning opportunities to build organizational capacity and foster an inclusive workplace culture. ● Analyze and track key DEIB datasets, performance metrics, policies, and qualitative data to assess impact, identify gaps, and inform continuous improvement. ● Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for DEIB programs and teams. ● Serve as a strategic advisor and thought leader on inclusive leadership, racial equity, and health equity practices within the organization and externally with partners. ● Champion equitable hiring, advancement, and retention practices in collaboration with HR and People Operations, ensuring diverse representation and psychological safety across all levels of the organization.
