Executive Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Leader, TEDx Speaker, Filmmaker and Author

About Me

I am a senior DEI executive with more than 20 years of experience guiding organizations to embed equity, diversity, and inclusion into strategy, culture, and operations. I partner with boards, CEOs, and leadership teams to translate DEI commitments into measurable outcomes — building workplaces where people feel seen, valued, and able to contribute their full potential. My career spans global humanitarian organizations such as the United Nations, academia, the private sector, and executive consulting. I have designed enterprise-level strategies, advised boards, and led complex culture transformations, always with a focus on voice, belonging, and accountability. I am known for creating spaces where difficult conversations can happen safely and honestly, allowing organizations to address systemic barriers rather than symptoms. A two-time TEDx speaker with global experience at Davos and corporate forums, I blend human-centered coaching with strategic rigor. My work draws on transpersonal psychology, lived experience, and inclusive leadership practices — enabling leaders to move from intention to sustainable change. Currently, I am completing post-production on a feature documentary I co-directed, wrote, and starred in, focused on Indigenous women peace-makers in my tribe in Ethiopia — a UNESCO-recognized tradition of conflict resolution and collective leadership where women have official government roles. I am proud to be part of generations of strong women voices. My goal is to borrow their unique leadership styles and share it with the world.
