▪ Plan sales projections to meet annual business plans & prepare business strategy for the year basis budget allocated by the group finance. ▪ Analyze stock position, evaluate sales, calculate stocks required from top sellers & secure buys. ▪ Understand and maintain in-depth knowledge of the assigned category, including product range, missed opportunities and key competitors. ▪ Develop strong relationships with vendors and suppliers and negotiate pricing terms, and other conditions that are favorable to the company. ▪ Constantly follow the market trends and check out for new products to ensure the company is offering the latest products and services. ▪ Analyze sales data and co-relate market trends to identify new opportunities and optimize inventory levels to achieve desired sales to enhance margin targets. ▪ Prepare and present category reviews to senior management, highlighting performance against KPI’s. ▪ Development and execution of seasonal plans and activities for the assigned category ▪ Work closely with the merchandise display team to ensure product assortment aligns with customer needs and preferences. ▪ Closely monitor stock levels during the year and reorder stocks as needed to maintain optimal inventory levels in stores and warehouses. ▪ Resolve vendor issues in efficient manner with long-term solutions. ▪ Participate in trade shows and other events as needed to promote the company and its products. ▪ Ensuring product range is optimized to enhance sales by utilizing better marketing strategies. ▪ Plan standard range for new stores & set its replenishment pattern as per product availability. ▪ Review existing range quarterly based on the stock’s availability at warehouse or suppliers. ▪ Monitor supplier delivery and analyze service level, communicate to enhance future deliveries
▪ Yearly Planning & Quarterly reviewing – Populating Sales Projections, propose achievable business plan & its compliance with OTB (Open to buy) based on stock & business situation. ▪ Analysis of stock position & evaluating rate of sale, Preparing purchase orders periodically ▪ Ensure control all the activities which can impact achievement of Business plan, Avoid overstock situation or Shortage of stock (Lost sales) ▪ Devise a merchandise plans - Product range Plan, Store Grade Analysis, Sales Strategy, Finalize Stock buys (Hose brand or Local Brands) ▪ Analysis of product cost estimation & Evaluation of margin & sales ▪ Review product pricing, Order tracking & Prepare readiness for stock intake. ▪ Mechanize stock intakes, Stock flow to various markets & final distribution to stores. ▪ Monitor sales closely to plan for future promotions, Control stock holding & review the progress of sales, Liaise with suppliers on urgent concerns of product issues, Shipment intake control. ▪ Visit stores and understand issues at ground, set a standard display model for the new arrivals. ▪ Negotiating with suppliers to run promotions on shared basis. ▪ Sorting out merchandise issues through negotiation with Operations & Store Managers. ▪ Support Assistant team in their AOR & lead them in business. ▪ Participating in developing new modules for the business within the company ▪ Analyzing stocks covers in the business and prepare a sale lists (Discounting slow sellers to have better clearance & enhancing promotion of new arrivals)
▪ Allocate new arrivals to each store outlet every market, throughout the season as per range plan & according to business strategy. ▪ Monitor stock movement from received at Regional Distribution Center (Jebel Ali UAE) to Local Distribution Centers thereby to all Retail Stores [across 11 markets across MENA region] ▪ Communicate with store to resolve overstock issues or low stock issues & initiate stock consolidation. ▪ Prepare new store opening packs & manage store closures. ▪ Initiate supplier payments for Invoiced shipments ▪ Taking customer queries/issues related to products from stores & coordinate with supplier for solutions. ▪ Publishing sales & stock analysis to first level manager & direct suppliers
