I work at the intersection of strategy, technology, and markets, with more than 30 years of international experience. Today, my focus is on ESG strategy, sustainable transformation, and building resilient, future-proof business models. In my current role as Director Global Sustainability, I am responsible for group-wide ESG strategy, CSRD and EU Taxonomy implementation, ecodesign, and the decarbonisation of products, supply chains, and business operations. A core element of my work is translating regulation into value creation. I turn frameworks such as the EU Taxonomy, CSRD, Ecodesign and supply chain requirements into practical governance models, digital systems, and scalable solutions. This includes sustainability management systems (ISO, EMAS), supply chain monitoring and resilience concepts, as well as digital ESG and reporting platforms. I design and scale circular economy business models, ranging from remanufacturing and certified pre-owned approaches to sustainable product strategies and data-driven services for industrial and event markets. Research partnerships with universities and institutes are an integral part of my work, enabling innovation in material cycles, product design, and climate impact assessment. My background in international business development, sales, and digitisation allows me to approach sustainability as a strategic and economic lever rather than a compliance exercise. I work closely with C-level stakeholders, industry associations, standardisation bodies, and policymakers, while remaining strongly focused on operational implementation. My ambition is to make sustainability measurable, strategically embedded, and economically effective — turning it into robust, long-term value creation.
