Led mixed-method research across varied cross-functional initiatives from University webpages, staff engagement, student software like VLE or portal, student apps, discovery and futurestate. Deliverables of research ranged from presentations and written reports, prioritised lists of actions, Power BI dashboards, and mock-ups for design handoff. Developed research frameworks and templates and enhanced team processes to improve consistency of deliverables. Drove the creation of a team-owned survey (saving our department £4,500 annually) to students and staff based on key metrics aligned to strategy, ensuring decisions are data-informed. Worked alongside teams within the University to improve the democratisation of this data and insights with a Master Power BI dashboard and product dashboards for feedback loops. Started and led the UX Community, a 140+ member group of University employees to help join up UX efforts and share information in-person and online via Teams. Facilitated presentations & ran development and skills workshops roughly every 6-8 weeks.

Planned and monitored up to 22 projects at a time from design to pre-press to production within set budgets while directing and working with a cross-functional and multinational team. Developed and maintained client and affiliate relationships throughout the project cycle. Gave price quoting to clients and reviewed loss incurred by error with the wider team monthly to ensure processes and communications were streamlined to maintain intended margins. Notable success with managing a complete brand refresh of the entire line (60+ products with variants) of Oscar Mayer brand in 2021 in conjunction with design agency.
Responsible for planning, coordinating, and producing products, accounting for an average of $1.5 million in sales yearly. In addition, designed, developed, and manufactured custom anatomical products including injection moulds for new and established customers like Boston Scientific and Stryker. Communicated daily with Chinese factories and affiliates to effectively produce products. Examined, corrected, and approved all pre-production samples for each order placed. Worked with factory owners and managers to refine product development processes, reducing the volume of errors in product samples.
