I have spent over 16 years working in customer service as a bartender and mixologist. In that time, I learned how to solve problems quickly, lead teams, and improve how things are done. I designed systems to make work easier, managed stock and supplies, and built a small web app to handle staff schedules and vacations. These changes helped cut costs and made our work much more efficient. My interest in how things work led me to software development. I have completed training in several areas, earning certificates in Back End Development and APIs, Data Visualization, Responsive Web Design, and Node.js from the Linux Foundation. I also completed a course on LangGraph Essentials with TypeScript, which helps in building AI tools. I work with Python, Django, TypeScript, Node.js, REST APIs, MongoDB, HTML, CSS, and Linux. I enjoy creating useful systems from start to finish. One project I built monitors my home’s solar panels using ESP32 and Raspberry Pi hardware, with Python and MQTT to collect and display the data. I’ve also made other tools to automate tasks and organize information. I work well with others, communicate clearly, and adapt easily—skills I strengthened through years of teamwork and customer interaction. I focus on writing clean, understandable code that solves real problems. Right now, I am looking to join a tech team where I can keep learning and contribute my skills in software development, IT support, or automation.
