Senior UX Researcher & Designer on WR Berkley’s Digital Team, working on an enterprise platform used by internal carrier teams, agents, and insured users. I support multiple agile teams across all self-service domains, leading UX design and mixed-method research to define what “high performance” means for carrier portals and using those insights to shape modernization priorities. My work focuses on designing within complex, regulated systems, evolving a cohesive design system, and mentoring designers and cross-functional partners to make thoughtful, user-centered decisions.
Defined workflows, interaction patterns, and experience standards for an AI-powered chatbot built on Microsoft’s framework, enabling faster, more accurate answers and creating feedback loops that allowed the system to continuously improve. Partnered closely with engineering on DevOps systems, conducting task analysis, usability testing, and interaction design to improve complex technical workflows, increase team efficiency, and reduce downtime and operational errors. Worked in parallel on globally used employee engagement software, improving usability and consistency across regions.
A unicorn startup where I built and led the UX Research team, mentoring designers and establishing processes for research-driven design. I led end-to-end research and design for a kiosk redesign (you can view this project on my portfolio), improving order speed, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. I partnered with the Head of Product to inform the product roadmap, set up a continuous user feedback community, and implemented Smartlook analytics to bring quantitative insights into product decisions.
