A member of the senior executive team at this NASDAQ and TSX-listed cyber security company following the $340m acquisition of NetMotion in July 2021. Selected as the CMO for both the Absolute and NetMotion marketing organizations. Responsible for restructuring and developing a new integrated strategy with 60+ people and $8m+ annual spend budget. Absolute Software was sold to Crosspoint Capital, having reached more than $200M in ARR. (As NetMotion CMO): Moved to Canada to open and run the NetMotion Canada office in Victoria, BC. Managed the global marketing and sales development teams, based in Europe, APAC, Canada and the US. A member of the senior leadership team responsible for determining the strategic direction of the company – a network security vendor for more than 3,000 enterprises and government agencies with over $50m in ARR. Major success with analyst coverage and also in establishing and expanding the company’s Victoria, BC presence in the media and beyond. Direct management of a group of 15+ (marketing) and indirectly responsible for 30+ (local Victoria team). Involved in M&A activity, including potential 8-figure acquisition of MFA vendor and part of the small team driving the eventual $340m sale of the business to Absolute Software in 2021.

As the organization matured, gained four promotions in five years and played a meaningful role in the growth of the team from 2 to 50. Operated as the most senior marketer in Europe as deputy to the US-based CMO and directly managed a team of 18. Created and owned the communications, PR and content marketing strategy that generated over a million visitors per year, plus social media, digital marketing, advertising, SEO and inbound. Personally responsible for expanding the business into Francophone and Hispanic markets. Brandwatch was acquired by Cision for $430m.
