Director Description • Lead complex Independent Business Reviews (IBRs), cash flow forecasting and liquidity management engagements for international and regional clients across manufacturing, energy, transport and financial sectors. • Orchestrated and executed multi-entity, multi-currency cash flow and financial forecast models supporting boards, shareholders and lenders. • Facilitate high-level deal execution by collaborating across internal multidisciplinary teams (Deloitte Lawyers, Finance, Treasury). • Acted as the primary liaison for diverse external stakeholders, negotiating and aligning with Private Equity firms, lenders, shareholders, steering committees, and executive boards to successfully get deals done. • Steered executive teams on liquidity positioning, debt and financing arrangements, performance and operational improvements. • Spearheaded and execute multiple business development initiatives firmwide and within the EMEA region • Leader within the recruitment, talent appraisal and performance reporting teams. Prior to being promoted I was a Senior Manager within the M&A Financial services | Turnaround, Restructuring and Performance Improvement sub services. Key Milestones include: • Managed over 15 complex engagements for European groups, owning the financial reviews, cash-management and reporting workstreams. • Designed and executed a 12-month strategic and turnaround plan for a multinational group navigating both intercompany challenges and financing complexity. • Successfully managed a EUR 400m financial and operational restructuring collaborating with various stakeholders, including four major European Banks and managing a multi-disciplinary Deloitte team (Finance, Legal, HR and Treasury) • Worked with various clients to enhance their consolidated group performance views versus budget for management and shareholders, and dealing with complex company structures including intercompany transactions, joint venture arrangements. • Drove continuous improvement of forecasting and business accounting processes inside the client ERP systems and internal environment.
• Guided SMEs and MNCs across the energy, utilities, financial services and manufacturing sectors, through the full transactional and restructuring lifecycle, leading a 25+ member team. • Completed 25+ Independent business reviews underpinning 15+ restructuring, debt-restructuring and working-capital programmes. • Designed the strategic plan and execution roadmap for one of the first Indigenous bank in Guyana. • Managed the receivership and sale of ten companies / assets valued at over US$25M (2015 – 2023). • Executed 30+ comprehensive due diligence engagements across diverse sectors, evaluating strategic fit, financial health, and commercial viability for buy-side and sell-side clients. • Dedicated 2 years to the Valuations and Business Modeling sub-service, performing asset valuations, impairment reviews, and financial modeling to support commercial investments and M&A transactions. • Developed and instituted financial and operational policies and procedures for financial and manufacturing groups including strengthening close, control and reporting disciplines.
