As Group CFO, I am driving the finance and controlling activities within the Group, while supporting Management and Shareholders in developing and implementing company strategies to increase company value in the long term.

As Finance Director for Manufacturing & Engineering operations in 23 plants worldwide, I am leading the finance and controlling support to the respective technical teams with a functional lead on the local Finance teams in the legal entities where these operations are carried out. My contribution lies in providing relevant information to effective mid and long term Senior Management decision making, in planning and monitoring opex and capex worldwide, while also challenging and providing finance support.

As Finance Director for European Procurement, Engineering, Production and Logistic operations, I lead the finance and controlling support to the respective technical teams with a functional lead on the local Finance teams in the legal entities where these operations are managed. My contribution was in providing relevant information to effective decision making, planning and monitoring expenses, while also challenging and providing finance support.

Country Finance Director, accountable for Controlling and Finance, partnering the Sales and Marketing Teams in a wide and complex environment, due to size, product mix, distribution channels. In parallel, owned statutory reporting and statements of the legal entity to the relevant stakeholders (Group, Internal and External Auditors), supported by the external accounting transactions service

In the role, which has evolved through time, I have been able to actively participate in the progressive change of managerial capabilities and integration within the company, which went from being the stationery distributor of Montblanc products to the fully controlled subsidiary in Italy of the Richemont Group. I contributed to this transition through several projects which I created, managed and completed: the reorganization of accounting processes together with SAP implementation, document management and digital archiving, debtors dunning process adaptation, two changes of headquarters to accompany growth, continuous monitoring and adaptation of company KPI. Furthermore, from the Finance point of view, I supported the acquisition and integration of the production company in Florence, which manufactures leather products for the whole Group, and was appointed member of the Executive Committee and of the Board. During the maternity leave of the Managing Director, I was appointed as her deputy, to lead the Management Team, and held relationships within the Group and with the external stakeholders

I followed the acquisition of the company branch of Schering Italia Spa, which distributed Guerbet products in Italy until June 2000, from the beginning and afterwards I implemented, with the help of just a few right-hand colleagues, all that was required for the start up’s success. It was a highly engaging and educational experience, with a 360° role in the staff functions and in the relationships with external suppliers and consultants
