About Me
As a senior leader with hands-on experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI), AI Governance, Knowledge Management (KM), and Data/Information Architecture, I help organizations move beyond AI experimentation to build governed, scalable enterprise-ready AI and GenAI solutions. I am the CEO and Principal Consultant of A.J. Rhem & Associates, Inc., a consulting, training, and research firm specializing in AI strategy, AI policy and governance, GenAI enablement, RAG architectures, and emerging technologies across insurance, healthcare, finance, legal, logistics, and government sectors.
I work at the intersection of Generative AI execution and AI risk management, designing and governing LLM-driven platforms, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, Agentic AI systems, and enterprise knowledge architectures. My focus is ensuring these systems are trustworthy, auditable, and compliant, aligned with NIST AI Risk Management Framework (AI RMF), ISO/IEC 42001, IEEE responsible AI principles, and emerging U.S. and global AI regulations. As a scholar-practitioner in AI and KM, I bring research-backed rigor to real-world solution delivery, helping leaders operationalize strategies and governance in AI and KM rather than treating it as a theoretical exercise.
My work includes AI governance frameworks, AI system inventories and audits, algorithmic risk assessments, GenAI and Copilot readiness, RAG security and data grounding strategies, Agentic AI discovery and oversight models, and executive AI literacy programs. Organizations engage me when they need to turn AI into a durable strategic capability, from MVPs or pilot solutions. If your organization is serious about responsible GenAI, Agentic AI adoption, measurable outcomes, and long-term enterprise value, this is where I do my best work.
