Spent more than 25 years at Altair in roles spanning product design and development, project management, innovation, sustainability, prototyping, and business development. Began as a mechanical product designer working on complex transportation and defense programs, developing concepts and physical products from early-stage problem solving through prototype development. Over time, my work expanded into project leadership, sustainable product design, industrial design consulting, prototyping and testing, and eventually business development. Led federally sponsored sustainable design initiatives supported by the U.S. Department of Energy and Environmental Protection Agency. Frequently brought into multidisciplinary brainstorming and early-stage design efforts to challenge assumptions, explore alternative approaches, and develop novel solutions to difficult product problems.
