Led the group’s media relations function to promote and defend Link’s brand and reputation in the public domain. Responsible for all external communications and enhancing media relations across local and international press in all key markets. Led all corporate communication functions including media relations, internal, corporate affairs and ESG communications. Originated all proactive pitches for top-tier media interviews, podcasts, speaking opportunities, securing first time engagements on leading platforms such as The Economist Money Talks podcast, SportNXT conference keynote and Bloomberg TV’s International Women’s Day edition. Oversaw corporate communications strategy and execution for landmark U.S. debut in May 2023.
Hired to build Group corporate communications function from scratch and lead overall strategic direction for external communications. Oversaw entire planning and execution of communications strategy to support successful integration and transformation as FWD grew rapidly from five to ten markets in five years through acquisitions and new market entries across Asia, leading to preparation for IPO. Hired and established a strong communications team and leads it across various aspects of communications including media relations, crisis and issues management, M&A communications, consumer engagement and employee communications. Built brand value in the public domain by consistently generating positive media coverage and regularly mitigating crises and issues.
Promoted to Vice President and Head of External Communications in April 2014. Originated and drove media strategies for business divisions and markets across Asia ex-Japan. Cultivated and maintained strong relationships with key journalists across the region. Appointed Head of CSR for Asia ex-Japan in April 2016.

Established corporate communications function outside of the marketing division as a standalone team. Wrote and updated real-time newswire reports tracking daily movements in regional and global financial markets for Bloomberg, including coverage of the London July 7 bombings and the global financial crisis. Conducted daily television interviews to summarise and analyse financial market developments for Bloomberg Television channel. Transferred internally from London to Hong Kong in October 2007 to support expansion of Hong Kong bureau as Asia-Pacific headquarters.
