• Appointed to establish UCSF Health’s enterprise transformation framework, tools, and governance model for system-wide initiatives. • Partnered with executive leadership to define ROI methodologies, success metrics, and accountability models for transformation priorities. • Designed the initiative portfolio management process aligning system performance with strategic vision. • Served as trusted advisor to leaders across operations, finance, and clinical services, ensuring transformation strategies were measurable and executable.

• Lead strategic visioning and implementation with executive management for enterprise programs to meet business objectives, performance and benefit realization at John Muir Walnut Creek, and Concord Medical Centers resulting in 5x-10x year over year improvements. • Directed the implementation and design of all Tier 1 operational excellence initiatives to drive improvement in inpatient care delivery, quality, infrastructure, information technology and financial performance while ensuring roadmaps and action plans are successfully executed. • Provided coaching to consultants and managers by utilizing best practices in program/ project management methodologies while effectively fostering teamwork and collaboration. • Identified opportunities to leverage the scale of assigned functions or markets, to minimize redundancy, utilize process redesign, optimize automation/technology, while reinforcing continuous improvement methodologies.

• Directed and managed Department of Pediatrics budget processes for all clinical and research divisions, approximating $200M. • Advised leadership with business and financial strategies using forecasting and modeling methods to enhance clinical operations and utilization -productivity. • Advised department chiefs and leadership on potential margin/operational enhancement opportunities based on revenue cycle, contractual agreements.
