Richard Archer is a hands-on leader with 20 years experience shaping risk management, compliance and assurance across a wide range of organisations, helping them to be smart with risk. He has deep expertise in developing and embedding Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) frameworks — from 'lean and liberating' for fast-moving sectors chasing agility and growth, to 'robust and resilient' for Critical National Infrastructure (CNI). He has extensive risk experience with high-value infrastructure programmes. He brings the same expertise to frameworks for compliance and assurance. Of note, he has led risk management for two of Europe's largest transformation programmes, reformed insurance programmes to get significant savings, and provided hands-on consulting support for critical decisions.
