Supporting Private Equity Portfolio Companies and Large Privately held organizations • Managing and executing client engagements within the CFO and Controller suite, • Perform duties as Interim Controller supporting and reducing monthly close cycle, managing external auditors, enhancing processes to increase and enhance controls over financial reporting, working capital, and implement policies and procedures to meet monthly reporting deadlines, • Execute an Enterprise Risk Assessment for newly emerging public company, which formed the foundation for risk monitoring, board level reporting and an annual internal audit plan, • Audit of commission payments to ensure contractual compliance with terms, • Operational and financial reviews to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of controls, and • Oversee order to cash, procure to pay and payroll and expense cycles.
Hired during a corporate restructuring as the interim CAO/Controller to stabilize and manage the controllership function.
