IBM Connex to FIS Payment One Modernization (Budget: $25M) • Led delivery planning for the migration from IBM Connex to FIS Payment One, modernizing payment processing capabilities across Canadian and U.S. payment channels while coordinating business, architecture, engineering, infrastructure, operations and strategic vendor workstreams. • Transformed a single-cutover implementation into a four-phase delivery roadmap by decomposing the target Payment One architecture into functional capabilities, reducing deployment risk and implementation blast radius. • Managed two concurrent migration workstreams, aligning ATM, POS, Interac and Shared Payment Switch modernization initiatives while resolving enterprise business, technology and vendor dependencies. • Presented program status, executive risks, dependency resolution and strategic decisions through recurring governance forums with senior business, technology and FIS leadership. Enterprise Payment Fraud Modernization (Budget: $5M) • Led enterprise fraud integration across Canadian and U.S. Wires and Global Money Transfer payment platforms. • Delivered end-to-end integration across SWIFT, Lynx, Firco, Wires Processing and Global Money Transfer systems to strengthen fraud detection and payment risk controls. • Directed implementation planning, production readiness and cross-functional delivery across Business, Fraud Operations, Architecture, Engineering and Production Support teams. • Contributed to approximately $3 million in fraud savings within the first two months following implementation. Enterprise API Modernization (TIBCO → AWS) (Budget: $1.5M) • Led modernization of 35 enterprise payment APIs from legacy TIBCO services to AWS-based APIs supporting multiple payment platforms. • Collaborated with Enterprise Architecture to define Current, Interim and Target-State architectures, enabling incremental modernization with minimal business disruption. • Directed production readiness, rollback planning and downstream application cutover to ensure seamless transition of business-critical payment services. • Governed cross-functional delivery across Architecture, Engineering, Product and Business teams throughout the modernization lifecycle.
