•Help a financial services firm build a robust investment management platform that includes institutional grade investment research, due diligence, investment management, monitoring, risk management and client reporting. •Development of alternative investment infrastructure – custodians, third-party investment platforms, portfolio optimization tools, research databases and reporting. •Increase the investment acumen of investment professionals on alternative investments across all channels and provide education on new product offerings as well as supporting research. •Lead the development of the alternative investment strategy pipeline, sourcing and due diligence of new investment opportunities, creation of asset allocation models and fulfilment of reporting needs. •Educate advisors and their clients on the usefulness of allocating to new alternative investment strategies​/​products. •Identify and source new client types (small foundations, endowments, family offices, etc.), help manage client relationships, and determine various strategies to further develop and enhance investment processes for advisors and their clients. •Prepare quarterly market viewpoints, commentaries and topical research for the firm’s advisors and clients. •Play an important role in the overall success of a financial services firm and help build a sophisticated investment management (OCIO) business with growing recurring revenue.
