About Me
Hello!
My name is Andrew, and I am a Accounting/Finance professional (CPA) and have been working in this space since 2015. I am currently a contractor, as a Fractional Controller & Interim Controller, for two companies and am growing my consulting practice.
I started my career in Public Accounting (w/ KPMG) and have spent the last ~9 years working in the private sector - as a Senior Associate, then promoted to an Assistant Controller, then to a Controller. I specialize in working with small to medium sized businesses in establishing U.S. GAAP-compliant accounting processes and procedures, ultimately, to help business owners reach their goals. I have worked for companies ranging from $3M in annual revenue to $45M in annual revenue - and have been the head of accounting/finance for these respective companies. I have led two companies through successful exits, garnering strong EBITDA multiples (above industry averages) when deciding to take on external investors, or outright selling their business.
I focus on establishing a strong, working relationship with key stakeholders - ensuring that their needs are met, no matter how complex. My work is meticulously planned and easy to document. I take the complexity of Accounting regulations and allow my partners to focus their efforts on actually operating their companies. I am not afraid to "do the dirty work", to ensure that your goals and milestones can be accomplished.
At the end of the day, with my services, you can expect to (successfully) pass an external audit, with NO adverse (negative) audit opinions. I would be happy to send a copy of my updated resume, for your reference! Here are some of my basic qualifications:
