Business economist with 25+ years in institutional Investment & Asset management services, combining expertise in fund management, governance, structuring, finance & control, operations and enterprise risk management with currently a strong focus on climate and nature finance. Co-Founder & CFRO of TogetherForTheBetterGood (TFTBG), where he developed the Blue Carbon Governance Framework™ to integrate risk control, inclusivity, and high-integrity impact into blue carbon and nature projects.He actively engages with TNFD, ICVCM and ORRAA to shape global nature-positive finance. Hans has structured and led innovative financial and investment solutions such as a €100m Pacific Blue Investment product and a $120m Indigenous-led restoration program. With senior leadership experience at PGGM, he has managed multi-billion euro funds, designed institutional Private & Public Markets fund structures and the respective governance frameworks, and overseen hedge funds platform with 22 Irish funds, implemented enterprise risk management and was head of Public Markets Operations (+/- €180 bn).
